Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer

Perform engineering valve design functions for the development of new products and for the modification of existing products.

Design and develop prototype models and methods to validate design concepts.

Collaborate with team members to validate designs and make recommended changes.

Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, production, vendors, and contractors to support product design projects, with feedback from Engineering Managers.

Qualifications:

Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering degree.

3-5+ years of engineering experience.

Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with an understanding of analytical tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB, and/or Mathcad.

Experience with using geometric tolerance techniques and drafting to ensure proper alignment and stackups (ANSI Y14.5M-1994 is a plus).

Experience with designing fluid handling devices (valves, pumps) is a plus.

All candidates must meet the US persons criteria.

Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $120,000.00+
