Pay Rate: $22.00 - $28.00/hour DOE
Hours: Full-Time | Monday - Friday

Our client company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting & Administrative Office Assistant to join their growing team in Englewood, Florida . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing accounting responsibilities with administrative support in a fast-paced office environment. The Accounting & Administrative Office Assistant will support office operations, customer service activities, accounting processes, and sales support functions while helping keep projects and office workflows running efficiently.

The ideal Accounting & Administrative Office Assistant will have previous accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and administrative office experience. Candidates with construction, roofing, service industry, or contractor office experience are highly preferred. Strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities of the Accounting & Administrative Office Assistant include invoicing clients, collecting accounts receivable payments, preparing warranties and lien releases, reconciling bank and credit card statements, auditing invoices, processing vendor payments, assisting with job costing, maintaining inventory records, and supporting accounting functions using QuickBooks Pro and spreadsheets. This role will also assist with answering phones, scheduling appointments, preparing proposals and sales folders, supporting customer care activities, maintaining referral programs, tracking mileage and expenses through GPS software, and assisting with marketing and office organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, and office administration experience
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Construction, roofing, or contractor office experience preferred
