Lead or Senior Electrical EngineerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead or Senior Electrical Engineer (RE) for Avionics Design in Huntsville, Alabama. As the avionics Lead EE you will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers to ensure the successful design and manufacturing of a new Avionics platform. The Lead EE will be the technical authority over the development, design, production, and test of the system.Position Responsibilities:Establishes a culture of proactive technical oversight, risk management and rapid issue resolution, providing alternative paths for issue resolution and an open dialogue on technical issuesLead requirement, function, and interface development for a new Avionics systemPresent data for the product at Design Reviews, product Acceptance and Qualification Reviews, and Delivery Reviews as requiredGuide technical path for product definition and executionAccountable to IPT Lead, IAMD CE and respective Program CETechnical authority over the development, design, production, and test of a new Avionics systemThis position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim U.S. secret clearance Pre Start and final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualificationsProven experience (5+ years) leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team in development or production environmentsDemonstrated experience with circuit card assembly design and bring upExperience with executing engineering in support of program milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc)Engineering experience on development and production programsExperience supporting or managing engineering release processesExperience mentoring early career engineersFundamental knowledge in power distribution systems, complex airborne power systems, power amplification systems, flight computers, IMUs, and/or Seeker/Radar system power architecturesPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot technical issuesFamiliarity with technical proposal developmentFamiliarity with test equipment design and validationExperience with SPICE, MATLAB, Mentor Graphics Expedition, and HyperlynxExtensive experience with lab and measurement tools, ex.
