This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing a fast-paced pipeline, and supporting customers throughout their buying experience. An Ag Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing relationships with customers, generating leads both over the phone and in person, assisting walk-in clients to ensure they receive prompt service, and executing direct sales to customers. This individual represents all of Ziegler Ag Equipments new product lines including, but not limited to, FENDT, Massey Ferguson, Gleaner, Brandt, Geringhoff, CAT, as well as Zieglers extensive used inventory. This position offers a competitive base salary with uncapped commission./ppResponsibilities:/pulliPromote and sell equipment to perspective and existing customers/liliEnsure every customer has a positive first interaction with Ziegler Ag Equipment and leaves with a favorable impression of the company/liliBuild strong rapport with customers while maintaining an appropriate balance between personal and professional relationships/liliPromptly follow up on all customer leads, requests, and inquiries./liliPromptly responds to requests of administrative and managerial employees/liliMeet with customers at the branch or on-site to conduct machine presentations and demonstrations/liliAddress all needs of walk-in customers in a timely and professional manner/liliExecute a pricing strategy that aligns with company policy/liliProspect and engage with new customers on a regular basis./liliAccurately maintain customer information and all sales activities within the CRM system/liliPresent a professional, neat, and clean personal appearance at all times/liliCreate and deliver quotes and product materials based on customers needs and preferences/liliResearch and maintain knowledge of competitive products and competitor activity./liliPromote current parts and service offerings to all customers/liliWork cooperatively with management and colleagues across departments to support a team-selling environment/liliCollaborate with others to schedule and conduct customer site demonstrations, inspections, and other field sales activities/liliManage the sales process by asking effective questions, identifying customer needs, and actively listening to provide tailored solution/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree in business or agriculture-related field preferred/liliStrong agricultural background and interest in supporting customers within the ag market/liliPrevious inside sales or customer service experience, especially phone-based, is a strong plus/liliMechanical aptitude or willingness to learn equipment features and functionality/liliExcellent communication skills across phone, email, and digital channels/liliComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail/liliProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office/liliSelf-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and customer-first mindset/liliAbility to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team/liliAbility to drive and operate equipment for demonstration purposes/liliMust have and maintain a clean driving record/li/ulpTravel:/pulli25% +/liliMinimal overnight travel required/li/ulpMinimum Physical Requirements:/pulliStanding, walking, using hands, talking, hearing./liliWorking Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor.
