General Cleaners play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various locations. Working typically in small teams of 1-3 members, they perform surface cleaning, sanitization, and floor care using standard and specialized cleaning machinery. This role requires regular travel between different sites and involves working independently as well as supervising other cleaners to ensure high standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform surface cleaning and sanitization tasks at various locations
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and specialized floor care
- Manage cleaning inventory and supplies effectively
- Interact professionally with customers and team members
- Operate standard and specialized cleaning equipment safely
- Travel regularly to different cleaning sites as required
- Supervise and coordinate the work of other cleaners
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in cleaning environments
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well within a team setting
- Basic knowledge of equipment operation and safety compliance
- Effective communication skills
