Job Overview: Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

As a Warehouse Associate, you will support daily operations including shipping, receiving, order picking, material handling, and inventory management . This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, on-time delivery of products.

Job Details: 

• Location: Libertyville, IL
• Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (Full-Time)
• Industry: Manufacturing / Distribution / Warehouse

Available Shifts & Pay: 

• 1st Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | $18.00/hour.
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM | $21.00/hour.
  • Training required on 1st shift for 1–2 months before moving to 2nd shift.
• Overtime: Available.

Key Warehouse Responsibilities: 

• Operate stand-up reach trucks, forklifts, and material handling equipment.
• Perform order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify against purchase orders.
• Move materials between warehouse and production areas.
• Package, wrap, and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts & audits.
• Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.

Warehouse Job Requirements: 

• Experience operating a stand-up reach truck or forklift.
• Previous background in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Experience with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or inventory.
• Ability to read work instructions and follow processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused.
