Their contributions are essential to maintaining ZF's reputation as a leader in the automotive industry.What you can look forward to as a Manufacturing Engineer:Ensure the changes to enhance the machine functionality.Lead projects to continuously improve and upgrade equipment.Lead complex projects to troubleshoot and solve errors and problems on production equipment.Analyze and plan work force utilization; space requirements; workflow; and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.Participates in departmental meetings.Confers with manufacturing engineers and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.Validates the development of product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials, tooling, fixturing or parts, according to specifications and quality standards.Consult the engineering team about potential suppliers for production equipment, tooling and fixturing and contributes to the final technical choice. Evaluate and assist in the evolution of the equipment and performs acceptance evaluation according to specification.
