The Job

You’ll deliver packages using company-provided P1000 and P700 step vans, P700 cutaways, 12-foot and 16-foot trucks, and cargo vans. Routes cover Watertown, Oakville, Thomaston, Woodbury, Bethlehem, Washington, Washington Depot, and Roxbury; service areas may change.

Expect an average of 8–10 hours per day, until route completion. The work includes loading and unloading packages, frequent bending and lifting, and carrying packages to delivery locations. Route distance is 30–80 miles, with stem distance of 60–80 miles.

Compensation

• Starting pay: $180 per day
• Training pay: $17 per hour
• Daily stop bonus: Tier 1: +$1.00 per stop; Tier 2: +$1.25 per stop
• Other incentives: Extra pay for helping other drivers; $20 per hour for paid downtime due to mechanical breakdowns
• Service incentive: Inbound Service Incentive after 3 months, based on RYDE score; earn an extra $10 with a good RYDE score and 99.7%+ service
• Pay frequency: Weekly on Friday

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Must pass a DOT physical
• Must lift packages up to 150 lbs and frequently bend, lift, and maneuver packages in and out of the delivery vehicle, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Comfortable using mobile apps, scanners, and technology daily
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual

Schedule

Five days a week, including one weekend day.
