Registered Nurse - Stepdown Unit

Location: Cleveland, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Rotating shifts: 3x12-hour days (07:00 - 19:30) and 3x12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30). Shifts may be variable based on operational needs.

Job Description: The role involves providing nursing care in the Stepdown Unit, with potential to float to other units as needed. The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to handle diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent nursing experience in a specialty.
• 18 months of recent Stepdown experience, travel experience is acceptable.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license required at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
