Requirements

• License: RN must have a valid compact or state license at the time of submission.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg and oncology experience.
• Travel experience: Required.
• References: 2 professional references required; at least one must be a manager or director.
• Certifications: Required BLS; preferred ACLS; ONS chemotherapy certification (not required).
• Charting: Experience with EPIC is required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients in a hematology-oncology setting.
• Monitor telemetry patients and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Manage peripheral and central lines, including blood draws.
• Administer blood products and care for feeding tubes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and social workers.
• Participate in infection prevention and fall prevention protocols.

Compliance / Notes

• Orientation: 72 hours.
• Urgent fingerprinting requirement must be completed immediately after booking.
• Strict compliance deadline is the Tuesday prior to the start date.
• COVID-19 vaccine is not required; flu vaccine is required with medical exemptions only.
