Must be available weekends, weekdays, holidays

As a Speech Therapist, you are to:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders

• Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their level of speech or language difficulty

• Adapt programs according to the needs of the resident

• Supervise supportive personnel in accordance with state and professional standards

• Conduct training programs and participate in training medical, nursing and other personnel in speech therapy techniques

• Ensure the residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognized the individuals’ needs and rights

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology/Therapy

• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred)

• Valid NYS License and Credentials
