About the Role Human Resources Generalist As our Human Resources Generalist, you will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while contributing to a collaborative and high performing team environment. This role is ideal for someone who brings a passion for hospitality, takes ownership, and is committed to continuous improvement and results. Your Impact You will support day to day operations, support team performance, and ensure service standards are consistently delivered. What You’ll Be Doing Operations & Execution Ensure smooth, efficient operations aligned with brand standards Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement Deliver consistent, high quality results in a fast paced environment Guest Experience Deliver exceptional service rooted in passion for hospitality Anticipate needs and respond with a solutions first mindset Create memorable, personalized experiences for every guest Team Collaboration Work collaboratively across teams to achieve shared goals Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive work environment Support a culture of respect, energy, and accountability Compliance & Standards Follow all company policies, safety standards, and procedures Maintain accuracy in processes, reporting, and documentation Uphold a culture of accountability and operational excellence Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate job postings using multiple job post sites, screen applicants, and schedule interviews Assist in the onboarding process including new hire orientation and documentation Maintain accurate and organized recruitment and personnel records Employee Relations Act as a resource for employee questions and concerns Support the Senior HR Manager in handling employee relations issues and investigations Help ensure consistent application of policies and procedures in a unionized environment Coordinate employee engagement activities and recognition programs Maintain communication boards with internal hotel information and labor law posting requirements Training & Development Support training initiatives by coordinating logistics and tracking employee participation Assist with communication and roll out of training programs Payroll & HRIS Support Collaborate with Payroll Manager to obtain, review, and enter payroll data Assist with maintaining HRIS records and employee documentation Compliance & Administration Ensure HR documentation complies with labor laws and hotel policies Maintain personnel files and HR records in accordance with legal and confidentiality standards Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment coordination Assist with the administration and management of Workers Compensation, Unemployment Claims, and Leave of Absence coordination Complete monthly administrative activities such as the hotel newsletter, birthday card preparation, and other administrative tasks Additional Information Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation and safety of hotel guests and property Requirements Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Solutions oriented mindset with attention to detail Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Technical / Role Specific Requirements Experience with Payroll systems (Paycom) and Applicant Tracking Systems (Workable) helpful Working knowledge of Equifax, E Verify, Workable ATS, and Paycom HRIS, helpful 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality or a unionized environment Bilingual English Spanish strongly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of HR laws, practices, and Microsoft Suite Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Education High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Benefits At Millennium Hotels & Resorts, we support our employees with a competitive benefits package designed to promote wellbeing and long term success: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Company-paid Life and AD&D Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability Coverage 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match (where applicable) Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Hotel Room Discounts across our global portfolio Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Benefits eligibility and offerings are subject to plan terms and company policy.
