CNC SET UP Operator

CNC Turning Setup / OperatorWe are hiring a skilled CNC Turning Setup / Operator to join our manufacturing team in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for setting up, operating, and optimizing CNC turning machines while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in CNC machining, the ability to troubleshoot and optimize programs, and a stable work history.Key responsibilities include:Set up and operate CNC turning machines efficientlyProgram, modify, and optimize CNC machine operationsMachine components to precise specifications and tolerancesPerform routine machine maintenance and troubleshootingEnsure adherence to quality standards and safety protocolsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentsMinimize downtime and improve operational efficiencySupport knowledge sharing and assist in team development when neededRequired qualifications include:Minimum 3+ years of experience in CNC turning (Setup/Operator role)Proven experience in CNC programming and troubleshootingStrong machining skills with high attention to detailAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsGood understanding of quality control and safety standardsStable work history (no frequent job changes; preferably 3+ years with one employer)High school diploma or equivalent (Technical/Vocational training preferred)Compensation: $28.00 per hour
