Tax Analyst

Our Kforce client, located in the St. Louis, MO area, is seeking a Tax Analyst to support corporate tax compliance and reporting for a growing organization. This role will focus on tax provision, compliance, and collaboration with a global tax team to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Client offers salary & bonus, benefits, hybrid working role, 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly tax accruals in accordance with ASC 740
• Support tax provision and compliance processes for domestic and international entities
• Compile and prepare federal and state income tax returns
• Assist with tax planning initiatives and related analysis
• Partner with global tax teams to ensure proper GAAP and local reporting compliance
• Prepare responses to tax authority inquiries and audits
• Contribute to process improvements and internal controls
• Perform tax research and provide recommendations on policies and procedures
• Participate in ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of tax accounting experience
• Experience in public accounting or Big 4 / large corporate environment required
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 (tax provision)
• Exposure to corporate income tax compliance
• Experience with OneSource Income Tax / Tax Provision
• Intermediate Excel skills; exposure to SQL or query tools a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
