What You'll Do

• Tailor Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design individualized therapy strategies that support them in reaching their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living functions
• Collaborate with a Diverse Team: Engage regularly with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and integrated care
• Empower Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapy practices that help maintain progress beyond clinical settings
• Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring each patient remains on a successful path

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Licensure and Credentials

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) required
