Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring an LPN/LVN for an outpatient clinic requiring BLS certification and 2 years of experience, with license required if applicable.

Job Details

• Outpatient clinic/urgent care center setting supporting a high-volume clinic,
• Assist with injection procedures, placing imaging orders, and minor procedure room support,
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM,
• Cerner charting system preferred but not required,

Job Requirements

• Current MO or Compact LPN/LVN license in hand at time of consideration, if applicable,
• Current BLS certification required,
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required (candidates with 1.5 years will be considered),
• Orthopedic experience preferred but not required,
• Skills in ambulation, cast care, crutch walking, and prosthetics preferred,
• Experience with pain assessment and management preferred,
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs,
• Availability to take call, work assigned weekends, and work at least 50% of holidays during the contract,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include follow-up phone calls, pain assessment and management, patient health questionnaires/history/allergy review, and vital sign monitoring,
• Facility is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with rotating shifts and potential work during inclement weather,
• Routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses,
• First-time travelers will be considered,
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible,
• Candidates residing 51-74 miles away may be offered at a local rate
