Job Description: Responsible for managing library operations, curriculum support, and information services for students and staff at Manzanita Elementary School. Responsibilities (Summary): Communicate and relate effectively with all students and staff. Maintain strong knowledge of classical and current literature, non‑fiction, and reference materials. Use and troubleshoot AV materials, copy machines, laminator, and computers. Work independently and with small groups of students. Support library functions according to school policies. Qualifications: Ability to communicate fluently, verbally and in writing in English. Good organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience with the Dewey Decimal System required; experience with Follett library software desired. Computer skills – proficiency in Word, Excel, and internet usage. AA degree or equivalent or related experience, education or training. High School Diploma or GED required. Requirements: Individuals will be fingerprinted.
