Quality Assurance Manager – Defense Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality operations in a military spare parts manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing the Quality team, maintaining AS9100 compliance, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required (other engineering degrees will not be considered equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years of Quality Management leadership experience managing personnel, quality systems, and operations.
• Experience in military spare parts/defense manufacturing strongly preferred .
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to:
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Understand mechanical components, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Experience with:
• AS9100 Quality Management Systems
• CAPA and corrective actions
• Root cause analysis
• Internal/external audits
• Supplier quality management

• Lead Quality and Inspection teams.
• Maintain and improve AS9100 quality systems.
• Manage non-conformances, corrective actions, and customer quality issues.
• Oversee inspections, audits, supplier quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with customer and defense industry requirements.

• Defense manufacturing experience.
• GD&T knowledge.
• CMM experience.
• Supplier Quality experience.

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work on U.S. defense-related programs.
• U.S. Citizenship strongly preferred due to export control requirements.
• Candidates must already reside within approximately 20 miles of Boca Raton, FL. No relocation available.
