As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Mount Vernon, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, and report access concerns in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
