Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced personal injury attorney in West Hollywood, CA. The attorney will manage a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through settlement negotiation, ensuring clients receive fair compensation for their injuries. Duties Strategically litigate personal injury cases by working up case files. Draft pleadings, including complaints, motions, and other legal documents. Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions. Prepare, conduct, and defend percipient and expert depositions. Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in court. Draft mediation briefs and actively participate in negotiating settlements. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies. Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates. Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials. Manage and guide litigation assistants and paralegals. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing. 2+ years of personal injury attorney experience required. Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to client advocacy, integrity, and professionalism. Excellent research, communication, and negotiation skills. Authorized to work in the United States. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the California State Bar.
