Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Basic QualificationsBachelor Degree in Engineering or related technical field and/or equivalent experienceKnowledge of systems engineering concepts and processesActive or Current DOD Secret Security ClearanceDesired SkillsUnderstanding of overall system engineering processBallistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) design and analysisExperience modeling complex systems with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)Experience with generating 6DoF trajectories and/or Missile Defense System threat modelingExperience with CONOPS developmentMedium or high fidelity simulation experienceSystem performance assessment tacticsScripting with Python, Matlab, Unix, Linux, Shell, Bash, C++, etc...Ability to define and detail solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and to the customerDemonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviorsKnowledge of AGILE processProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practicePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
