Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical setting. The role involves assessing patients, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough patient assessments upon admission and continuously monitor condition trends.
• Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications, including IV therapy, and manage wound care or specialized medical equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding post-surgery care, medication schedules, and discharge instructions.
• Recognize early signs of patient deterioration and respond promptly to stabilize patients in emergency situations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain accurate documentation of clinical activities.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of MS and Telemetry nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Valid Michigan state nursing license.
• Demonstrate proficient skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and care coordination.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
