Finance Manager New York City Metropolitan Area Job Description 237 Global is seeking an experienced Finance Manager responsible for ensuring compliance with all standard accounting principles and supporting all aspects related to the company’s finances at large, including GL management, AP/AR, FP&A, cash flow, financial reporting, audit, and managing outsourced accounting and tax services. We are looking for an experienced accounting and finance professional capable of collaborating with senior management, establishing and improving processes, and implementing financial systems. The right hire will be versatile, analytical, and an excellent communicator. A successful candidate will be a hands-on, detail-oriented, self-starter who has had increasing responsibility in finance and accounting, with the ability to oversee all aspects of accounting and finance for a growing business. Position Details Support the development and implementation of finance and accounting controls and operational best practices Record incoming cash and checks for deposit and coordinate payments to multiple vendors on a regular basis Assist in preparing and presenting financial reporting packages, and provide analysis and guidance to the senior management team Configure and leverage a range of accounting systems and payment tools such as QuickBooks, Concur, Stripe, and PayPal to meet the needs of the business Coordinate across departments on show settlements, reconciliations, and other financial workflows Support Finance team with the administration of payroll and processing of accounts receivable/payable Provide guidance on employee benefits, expense reimbursement, and other administrative policies as necessary Support monthly close including monthly financial commentary and analysis of financial performance versus business plan and forecast, and performing balance sheet reviews Preparation of executive materials that summarize the operating performance of 237 Global consolidated results and key metrics Job Requirements: Five or more years of experience as an accountant in business management Broad functional accounting experience, including AP/AR, financial systems, audit, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and more Ability to prepare and present financial documents Proven interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with a willingness to ask questions rather than make assumptions Fastidious record-keeping, attention to detail, and levels of organization High level of proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, Concur, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office with an aptitude for learning additional business systems Comfortable working in-office 5 days a week ABOUT 237 GLOBAL 237 Global is a tech, services, and VIP company focused on super-serving fans of musicians, athletes, and influencers.
