Job description: Pride Health is hiring a Patient Intake Representative to support our client’s medical facility in following cities, Auburn, Columbia City, Fort Wayne, Huntington & Warsaw, IN . This is a 3-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! NOTE: DIRECT OFFER Opportunity Job Summary: We are seeking a Patient Intake Representative to join a leading healthcare diagnostics organization. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the healthcare industry while working in a patient-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: Schedule patient appointments and welcome patients upon arrival Assist patients with registration and check-in procedures Enter patient demographic and billing information accurately Verify insurance coverage and collect patient payments Collect and prepare specimens for testing and analysis when required Contact physician offices to verify and confirm test orders Monitor and document patient wait times Address patient concerns and escalate issues to management as needed Educate patients about available laboratory services Maintain office supply inventory Assist with opening and closing office procedures Perform general administrative and clerical duties Skills & Qualifications : High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of customer service experience Strong data entry and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Additional Information: Location: Auburn, Columbia City, Fort Wayne, Huntington & Warsaw Job Type: 03 Months (Contract to Hire) Pay Range : $17 - $20 hourly Shifts: Regular Shift Mon – Fri *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
