WC Smith has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Leasing Manager to lead our dynamic leasing team at The Collective. The Collective is a collection of properties, including Park Chelsea, The Garrett, and The Agora, in the Capitol Riverfront/Navy Yard in Washington, DC. This fast-paced role will lead a team of at least four leasing consultants, serving over 1100 apartment units.
Rotating weekend availability is required.
- Lead and elevate the performance of the leasing team, driving leasing results, occupancy goals, and a best-in-class resident experience.
- Oversee all leasing operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance of all leasing documentation prior to execution.
- Manage, coach, and develop leasing consultants, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused team culture.
- Partner with Property and General Managers to proactively address resident concerns and maintain a luxury-level standard of service.
- Collaborate with corporate marketing to execute targeted campaigns, optimize lead generation, and drive traffic and conversions.
- Deliver an exceptional prospect and resident experience by setting the standard for professionalism, urgency, and service.
- Actively participate in leasing efforts, including conducting high-quality property tours and closing prospective residents.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to inform leasing strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years of leasing management experience, preferably within a Class A or luxury property
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing leasing team
- Experience managing properties with 300+ units required
- Strong understanding of the DC leasing market; experience in luxury communities preferred
- Experience with property management systems such as Yardi or OneSite required
- Experience in high-volume leasing and/or lease-up environments preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High energy, sales-driven mindset with a strong focus on results and accountability
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and closing skills
