This Position reports to: Service Sales Manager In this role, you will have the opportunity to support ABB's Electrification Services Sales organization and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation. The work model for the role is: remote (#Li-Remote) with the preferred living and working location being in Houston, TX, but there is flexibility anywhere in the South. Your role and responsibilities: Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications. Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries. Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS). Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries. Qualifications for the role: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college and 2-4 years relevant work experience, or a High School Diploma / GED and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Experience in proposal or quote development, sales support, or order administration required. General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred. Previous experience with business-to-business customer support preferred. Proficiency in Excel and/or CRM software (SalesForce preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline nice to have. While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $79,800 and $127,680 annually.
