Special Events Associate

Position Overview This position supports events at Nebraska athletics. Manage needs and expectations from the internal or external event requestor and collaborate across departments for event support. Organize and work directly with facility tours and oversee staff assigned during special events and tours. Work within the Event Staff database platform to issue availability and scheduling for each special event. Weekend and evening hours will be required. Qualifications Minimum: High school education or GED and 1 year of experience within the event management/hospitality industry; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Preferred: Experience coordinating events within the hospitality industry. Requirements Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required; subject to DOT approved pre‑employment & random testing for alcohol and controlled substances. Physical requirements: None specified. Pre‑Placement Driving Record Review: No Criminal History Background Check Required: Yes Salary $19.23 per hour. Location Lincoln, NE.
