Sr. Analyst - Asset Management

Job Summary Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Sr. Analyst – Asset Management for a temporary assignment in Plano, TX. This is a 12‑month contract. Pay range: $70–$80 per hour. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision and 401(k). Key Responsibilities Maintain accounting records for fixed assets ensuring compliance with GAAP and the fixed‑asset capitalization policy. Perform asset data maintenance including releases, master data accuracy, depreciation, disposals, SAP settlements, etc. Ensure financial close accuracy with journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting and flux commentary to upper management for material variances. Coordinate with finance, procurement and operations teams for asset acquisition, tracking, depreciation and disposal. Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of fixed‑asset records. Additional Responsibilities Support the organization’s fixed‑asset accounting processes and procedures. Maintain and update the fixed‑asset register. Assist with quarterly/annual asset confirmation activities. Record and monitor asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards. Perform regular asset valuations and depreciation calculations. Review and analyze fixed‑asset‑related financial statements and reports. Prepare and present detailed fixed‑asset reports for management and stakeholders. Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to fixed assets. Collaborate with departments to plan and budget for capital expenditures. Coordinate with IT and administrative staff to ensure proper tagging and tracking of fixed assets. Handle internal and external audit requests pertaining to fixed assets. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to fixed‑asset management. Develop and implement process improvements for fixed‑asset management systems. Ensure timely and accurate recording of asset acquisition, capitalization, and depreciation. Administer and manage lease accounting and leased‑asset records. Maintain documentation and records related to fixed‑asset management policies and procedures. Qualifications (Must Haves) BS/BA in accounting with 3+ years of accounting work experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Experience with SAP ERP system. Experience with fixed‑asset accounting. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and completeness. Self‑motivated, dependable, self‑started. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Solid time‑management skills, able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of the automobile industry. Licensing and Travel Work Authorization: Green Card or US Citizen. Travel required: No travel required.
