Job Title: General Manager - Industrial Manufacturing

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the overall strategy, daily operations, and long-term success of our manufacturing facility. You will be the primary leader responsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.
This is a "hands-on" executive role. You will work across departments-from production and finance to business development-to ensure that our organizational priorities are executed with precision. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who is just as comfortable analyzing a P&L statement as they are walking the production floor to identify process bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Leadership
• Strategy Execution: Develop and implement multi-year strategic plans to drive market share and profitability. Monitor competitive landscapes and adjust operational tactics to maintain our advantage.
• Financial Stewardship: Own the full P&L. Develop annual budgets, approve major capital expenditures, and implement rigorous cost-management strategies to ensure sustained profitability.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations to maximize productivity. Champion continuous improvement initiatives (KPI-driven) to reduce waste, downtime, and operational friction.

Business Growth & Relationship Management
• Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, products, or services. Represent the organization at industry events and build high-value partnerships with key stakeholders and clients.
• Customer-Centricity: Lead our client relationship strategy. Address high-level inquiries and translate client feedback into actionable business process improvements.

Culture & Governance
• Executive Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team. Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and shared accountability.
• Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to strict environmental, health, and safety regulations. Drive corporate social responsibility initiatives that align with our long-term values.
• Crisis Management: Develop and maintain business continuity plans to ensure the organization remains resilient during operational or market disruptions.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience Baseline: Senior management experience (General Manager, VP of Operations, or COO level) within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Technical/Financial Mastery: Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost-management principles.
• Leadership: Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and sales/finance.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills; ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Attributes
• Experience with industrial process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma) and modern manufacturing technology.
• A forward-thinking mindset regarding environmental sustainability and corporate governance.
• Willingness to spend time on the production floor to understand the business from the "ground up."
