Position Overview

Role: Psychiatrist (MD/DO)
Type: Locum Tenens Full-Time (7 On / 7 Off)
Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota
Start Date: Week of August 1, 2026 (must be available 7/31 for orientation)
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
- 1 2 nights of call per 7-day block

Clinical Details

Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry + ER & Hospital Consults
Unit: 24 beds (Adult + Adolescent)
Patient Population: All ages
Telemedicine support available (as needed)
Work alongside APPs, social workers, and intake teams

Key Responsibilities

Provide inpatient psychiatric care
Handle ER and hospital consults
Manage adult & adolescent patients
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
Participate in shared call coverage

Requirements

️ Board Certified Psychiatrist
️ Comfortable treating all age groups & diagnoses
️ Experience with Epic EMR
️ Ability to work 7 on / 7 off schedule
