Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery, responding to obstetric emergencies, performing deliveries and surgical procedures, and collaborating with nurses, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes. Additionally, hospitalists provide consultative services, support emergency department evaluations, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for physicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care while shaping the next generation of OB/GYN professionals.
