Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology (Interdisciplinary)

Job Title

Duties

Help

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic hematology/oncology conditions

Perform and assist with procedures including biopsies

Coordinate and supervise delivery of outpatient hematology/oncology care

Provide patient and family education regarding disease processes and treatments

Consult and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers

Prescribe medications and adjunctive therapies within scope

Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, radiology, and pathology

Triage consultation requests and coordinate tests based on clinical urgency

Develop and implement comprehensive plans of care in accordance with standards

Serves as primary hematology/oncology provider for assigned patient panel

Communicate findings and management plans with patients or surrogates

Lead interdisciplinary efforts to ensure continuity of care across settings

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
