Description
Greenhouse Production Assistant
Areas of Responsibility: Tier 1
- Seeding duties, including operating seeding machine(s).
- Transplant seedlings based on quality standards.
- Identify and cull plants with pests or disease and report all signs of pest and/or disease to supervisor.
- Harvest mature plants as instructed and in accord with production schedule.
- Move and rearrange growing equipment as needed.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of greenhouse materials.
- Compost unused plants as instructed and in accord with production schedule.
- Assist with daily cleaning of production areas, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist with periodic cleaning of common areas in facility.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), Company food safety policies, Company employee's safety policies, and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
- Proper handwashing and wear required PPE at all times.
- Additional duties as assigned.
