Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a full-time experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our mental health treatment center in Washington, DC. Schedule / Hours: Standard inpatient hours

Call: No mandatory call requirements

Patient Volume: Adult inpatient and addiction care

Location: Washington, DC

Practice Setting: Inpatient mental health treatment center

Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary team collaboration

EMR / Technology: Utilized for documentation and care coordination

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health treatment to inpatient adult patients
• Administer medication management, psychotherapy, and other evidence-based treatments
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, and support staff for comprehensive care delivery
• Employ evidence-based practices to ensure quality care

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $155,000 - $175,000 subject to experience

Qualifications

• Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Mental Health
• 3-5 year of experience as a PMHNP
• Active and valid license to practice in Washington, DC
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
