How You’ll Make An Impact Under the direction of the Program Director, the Instructor creates and implements age and health‑appropriate group exercise classes for participants that meet the YMCA mission and standards as well as the character development values of Caring, Respect, Honesty, and Responsibility. Role Responsibilities Include: Leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes, as directed by the supervisor, to accomplish the YMCA mission and goals. Develop, implement, and supervise group exercise class which promotes the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of participants. Maintains working knowledge of program and trends to provide effective information and support to members. Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information. Responds to all member and community inquiries and complaints in a timely manner. Assist in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of and participation in program. Other Duties: Assigned as necessary by the Wellness Director. Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience Program specific experience required.
