All Medical Personnel - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel About the Role: As a Labor & Delivery RN, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care to women through all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum. Your expertise and compassion will help ensure safe, efficient, and family-centered care during critical moments. You'll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to foster a positive birth experience and promote the health and well-being of both mother and newborn. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in professional nursing practices, techniques, and procedures. Experience in monitoring physiological data and responding effectively to patient needs. Ability to document care accurately and communicate clearly with patients and team members. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills. Current RN license issued by a recognized licensing authority (e.g., an active multistate license). Certifications including BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), with possible eligibility for advanced certification in neonatal care. Must have 2 years of L&D experience and at least 2 years of travel experience. Must be over 50 miles from the facility. Locals not accepted. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with advanced fetal monitoring or neonatal resuscitation training. Preferred Education and Experience: An Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program is highly desirable. Additional Requirements: Certifications such as NRP Instructor or Advanced Provider are advantageous. Must be able to respond to the needs of diverse patient populations, demonstrating cultural sensitivity. Flexibility to accommodate shift work, including night or weekend hours if needed.
