Job Title:Customer Service RepresentativeReports to:Level/Salary Range:Based on ExperiencePosition Type:Full-timeFLSA ClassificationHourly non-exemptApplications Accepted By:View email address on click.appcast.io DescriptionSummary:The CSR will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.Essential FunctionsOrder EntryEnter Purchase Orders to generate Sales orderManage house accountUpdate contact information.Maintain customer communicationGenerate business with dormant accounts.Coordinate with Estimating on quote preparationResearch/provide prior information to estimating team.Assist with PO contract review.Review price history for quote evaluation.Work with vendors on costing.Assist with estimates as needed.Coordinate with Production on delivery requests from customerProvide information to customers as requested.Follow up on open quotesUpdate Sales Stage in Quote Log.Update quotes.Obtain quote feedback/status from customers/reps.Coordinate with Engineering on engineering/design requestsProvide additional information.Follow up on drawing approvals.Point contact for Sales RepsProvide information and support as requested.Update sales team.Field incoming phone calls from customersProvide information requested.Direct customer to proper Alcon personnel.Coordinate with Quality on claims from customerProvide support for claims/RMA’s.Provide part/customer history.Additional ResponsibilitiesManage incoming phone calls.Assist with social media presence.Coordinate with division managers on priority orders/deliveries.Assist with setting up new customer accounts.Generate sales leads.Continue to increase product knowledge.Odyssey Training.Increase technical knowledge (AutoCad/Solidworks).Continue to develop customer resource list.QualificationsAssociate degree preferred.Minimum of two years’ customer service experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.Strong computer skills, including the use of MS Office.Strong attention to detail.Able to work in a fast-paced environment.Create and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels in the organization.Alcon Industries provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training. #J-18808-Ljbffr Alcon-Industries-Inc-
