We are currently accepting applications for Mechanics in Ontario, CA. Compensation Hourly Pay $35.00-$39.00 per hour, based on experience. Overtime paid after 40 hours per week and 8 hours per day. Typical work week is 40-50 hours per week. Annual tool allowance. Weekly paychecks. Benefits 401(k); 401(k) matching Health, Vision, Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee stock purchase plan Tuition reimbursement PTO (Personal and Vacation Days) Paid Holidays Career advancement opportunities Work Schedule Monday-Friday Work 11:00am-8:30pm; typically 8-10 hours per day Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative and as-needed maintenance of diesel trucks and electronic vehicles Properly operate the mobile service truck and attend to truck inventory Interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals Travel to locations to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance Communicate effectively with management, providing detailed breakdowns of service requirements and costs Maintain schedules and document completed preventative maintenance and repairs Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems Test repaired equipment for proper performance; ensure work meets manufacturer\'s specifications according to FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment Requirements Must be a minimum of 21 years old Minimum 2 years of previous technical experience with Class 6-8 Commercial Trucks, Tractors, and Trailers Air Brake Systems Certification Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot repairs using diagnostic systems ASE Certification is preferred Knowledge of air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems as well as general mechanical operation and/or light body repair Familiar with FHWA, and FMCSR, BIT inspections High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) Must be able to lift 70 pounds Candidate must provide own tools Valid driver\'s license may be required with no suspensions and/or revocations in connection with a moving violation within the past three years.
