About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 3 Years of ICU Experience License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Certifications: NIHSS, BLS & ACLS Required Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, BSN highly desired Description: The ICU is a multidisciplinary unit that provides care for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients. Various types of technology are used to care for and treat critical care patients. This technology includes, but is not limited to, ventilators, entriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), gastric tubes, and intravenous infusion pumps. Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Must live 50 miles away for this position. 3 night shifts per week from 7 PM to 7:30 AM are required.
