Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate to join the Labor & Employment team in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary practice, engaging in business development and client-facing activities while supporting career development and excellent client service. Duties Collaborate with shareholders on diverse employment law matters. Engage in business development and client-facing activities. Participate in litigation, including motion practice and court appearances. Draft and respond to discovery requests. Conduct and defend depositions. Requirements 2-4 years of employment law experience on the defense side. Experience in employment counseling with a management-side law firm. Solid litigation experience, including motion practice and court appearances. Strong research and brief writing skills. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously. Admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree with strong academic credentials. Certifications Admitted to the California Bar. Skills Strong research and writing skills. Effective communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
