Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hosp Central, US:CO:Colorado Springs Department: MHC Onc Outpatient Infusion Work Schedule: Full Time, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour based on relevant experience This is an onsite position with no remote or hybrid options available. Summary As a Registered Nurse in our outpatient infusion and apheresis setting, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care. You will utilize the nursing process, adhering to clinical standards and policies to deliver high-quality patient care in line with our organizational mission and values. Responsibilities Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care related to infusion services, focusing on personalized patient assessments to enhance outcomes and utilize resources efficiently. Continuously monitor and communicate patient conditions, collaborating across disciplines to ensure seamless patient care, including transfers, discharges, and addressing spiritual or psychosocial support needs. Assess and educate patients and their families according to their unique needs, inclusive of age, culture, and health circumstances. Delegate responsibilities effectively to auxiliary personnel and may mentor student nurses and new team members. Exercise critical thinking and independent judgment to manage a fast-paced environment competently. Requirements Graduation from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered Nursing program ( Active State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). ONS certification required within 6 months for new hires and 1 year for recent graduates. At least 6 months of nursing experience. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, must be valid for at least 60 days post‑hire. At UCHealth, our employees are our most valuable asset.
