Cleared CNC Manufacturing Engineer

Title: CNC Manufacturing Engineer 3rd Shift
Location: Andover, MA
Duration: 6-month contract
Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM 6:00 AM, Mon Fri
Work Setting: 100% Onsite
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen required; must be able to obtain a security clearance
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve CNC machining processes for complex precision metal components used in aerospace and defense applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop machining processes, tooling, fixtures, workholding, and operator instructions.

Program and optimize 4-axis/5-axis CNC machines .

Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.

Validate CNC programs using VERICUT and CIMCO Edit .

Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues on the shop floor.

Perform root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvements.

Develop inspection plans and use SPC/metrology data to improve quality.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.

5+ years of manufacturing/CNC process engineering experience.

Strong precision machining, CNC programming, and GD&T experience.

Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds/speeds, fixtures, and machining processes.

Experience with RCA, corrective action, Lean/Six Sigma, or SPC preferred.

Must be willing to transition to 3rd shift after approximately one month of training on 1st shift .
