Implement PT interventions using appropriate, evidence-based techniques; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed. Serve as a co-leader in interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries within established deadlines. Supervise assigned therapy assistants and ensure safe, compliant delegation of tasks. Communicate patient status, progress, and discharge needs with patients, families, and the care team. Requirements Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. Active Physical Therapy licensure in California (or applicable state(s) of practice); eligibility as required. CPR certification (BLS or equivalent) required. Minimum two years of recent experience in the field. Valid driver’s license and eligibility to drive; age 21+. Vaccination requirements per organizational policy; exemptions may apply. Ability to work in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.
