The Event Coordinator Marketing and Sales manages the planning and execution of events ranging from small gatherings to large-scale functions, catering to corporate, private, and non-profit clients. This role involves coordinating vendors, managing budgets, and driving promotion and sales efforts with moderate independence. The coordinator ensures seamless event experiences without the need for travel, while leveraging strong marketing and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events for small to large audiences (up to 200+ attendees)
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiations
• Oversee event budgets and financial tracking
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote events
• Create and manage function sales strategies
• Coordinate menu planning and other event logistics
• Network with clients and industry contacts to generate business
• Prepare detailed event reports and performance analysis

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in event coordination
• Proficient in event management software
• Strong budgeting and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of sales techniques and marketing strategies
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Effective problem-solving and time management skills
