Overview Sentara Heart Hospital located on the campus of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Procedural & Surgical Intermediate Care Unit! $70.00/hr pay rate Temporary Full Time 14-week assignment Night Shift No benefits City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift Third (Nights) Department Overview This 24-bed cardiac surgical/procedural IMCU provides care to pre and post cardiac surgery patients to include: bypass surgery, cardiac valve repairs/replacements, thoracic surgery/lung diagnostics, and other cardiac based procedures and treatments such as ablations, left atrial appendages, ICDs, and permanent pacemakers. The unit also provides a high level of care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and chest pain. Dedicated to high quality care, patient outcomes, safety, and teamwork is a standard of the staff Nurses handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level.
