ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
Our agency opened in 1984 and has grown into a close-knit team of seven. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked as a chemist, bringing a detail-oriented and analytical approach to the way we serve our customers and operate our office.

I’m multilingual and speak German, French, Ethiopian, and English, which reflects the diverse and inclusive environment we’ve built within our agency. We stay involved in the community by participating in various local events and supporting initiatives that help bring people together.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member for Makeda Nichols - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
• Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
