Shannon Gilbertson State Farm is dedicated to providing personalized insurance and financial services that protect what matters most to our clients. As a trusted State Farm agency, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and customized insurance solutions. We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our team and help us continue to grow and serve our community. Job Summary: As an Insurance Sales Representative with Shannon Gilbertson State Farm in Ellensburg, WA , you’ll build strong client relationships by assessing insurance needs and recommending coverage that fits—supporting P&C (personal lines) and Life/Health products. You’ll be an ambassador of the State Farm brand, delivering outstanding service and helping clients protect what matters most. Key Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed minimum production goals
- Appointment setting + direct selling using agency-provided leads + referrals
- Generate and grow business through community outreach, networking, and proactive sales efforts
- Conduct client needs assessments and present State Farm options for auto, home, renters, life, and health
- Develop tailored coverage plans that provide strong value and protection
- Provide ongoing support: policy reviews, renewals, and claims assistance
- Maintain accurate client records in State Farm CRM/systems
- Stay current on State Farm products, promotions, and industry regulations
- Collaborate with Shannon and the agency team to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Represent the agency at occasional sponsored events (evenings/weekends as needed)
- Active WA licenses: P&C and Life/Health (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Punctual (on time for appointments and commitments)
- Lots of energy and charisma team leadership

- Able to handle escalated situations professionally
- Strong community involvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust quickly
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with computers/CRM tools
- Full-time, in-office: M–F 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Occasional evenings/weekends for sponsored events
