Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students who have a range of learning differences
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, modification, and implementation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Flexibility and a problem-solving approach in adapting to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student IEPs
- Monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies to optimize student learning
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with federal, state, and district reporting requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
- Foster a classroom environment that is supportive, accepting, and engaging for all students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop accommodations and modifications within the classroom setting
