About the Role:

ComForCare Home Health Care - Sarasota is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Companion Caregiver to make a real difference in the lives of seniors and individuals in the Sarasota, FL area. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide meaningful one-on-one support that helps clients live their best lives at home. If you have a heart for helping others, we'd love to have you on our team!

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or well-being to supervisors
• Engage clients in meaningful conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities
• Provide respite care support for family caregivers
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving, home health, or companion care experience preferred
• Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
