Physician - Ophthalmology

Description


MaineHealth Ophthalmology is looking for a physician to join in a regional capacity for their thriving Brunswick and Damariscotta practices. The hired candidate would be providing high quality, comprehensive adult ophthalmologic care including but not limited to: cataract surgery, medical glaucoma and retina management including laser procedures and intravitreal injections, and minor lid surgery. This role also offers potential for blended pediatric caseload. This is a full-time position with clinical volume consisting of approximately 60-70 office visits and 10 surgeries per week, with regional call responsibilities shared amongst the team.


Qualifications:

• MD or DO with board certification in Ophthalmology
• Licensed, or eligible for Maine state medical licensure
• Experience in both clinical and surgical ophthalmology
• Strong commitment to patient care and collaborative practice
